Isaiah,

You are 2 games away from wrapping up your first season of coach pitch baseball. I can't tell you how proud I am of everything you have accomplished this year. You've played every position of baseball this season and have grown tramendously over the last several months.

You have learned each position from catcher to shortstop as the fundamentals of base running. Your batting has improved tramendously as well as your throwing and catching skills. This season you learned how to push through tough games and keep a good attitude and spirit. You've also learned how to win and be proud. Most importantly worked hard with your team and as the strong leader you are communicated well on the field.

You also learned the challenges of juggling sports and school. Each day while traveling to the baseball field, whether its for a game or practice, you always take a power nap in the back of the truck. Balancing homework, school, being a 5 year old and baseball is no easy task. If I must say you crushed it this year buddy and I am so proud of you.

Nonetheless you never let your grades falter and todate continue to maintain honorable grade levels.

It was a great honor to be one of your coaches this year. Watching you grow over this season has taught me a lot and I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to be on the field with you this year.

I know everything seems to move fast when you are a 5 year old, but I want you to know that you have real talent and love for baseball. If you keep working hard and loving the sport some day you will dominate.

Over the next few months we are going to relax, work on technique and study the science of baseball. If time permits we will try to attend a professional baseball game in person so that you can see what that experience is like. To be honest with you I personally have never been to a professional baseball game, so it will be a first time experience for the both of us.

Enjoy the off season buddy you've earned it. Study, focus on good grades in school and improve on your skills and knowledge for the spring season.

💚 Love Dad

P.S. Enjoy a few pictures I manage to snap over the season.
